What to Expect

Sunday 9:30 am
Liturgy and Music
We sing modern renditions of ancient hymns, read and hear the Word, and pray extensively for our community and our world. The liturgy and music are projected and our service bulletin gives information about each aspect of the service so you'll know what's coming next. The Eucharist, or Communion, is celebrated every week. You can read more about what to expect here.
Children, ages 0-4
We have a nursery (0-2 years) and Pre-k (3-4 years, potty-trained) room that opens for drop-off at 9:15. Threes and fours return to the service before Communion, and you may pick up your 0-2 year old(s) during the Offertory. If you'd like to keep them in the nursery through Communion, please let the teachers know at drop-off.
Children and Youth, K-12th grade
K-3rd graders begin the service with their parents and are dismissed to Children's Church before the sermon. Older elementary-aged children and 6th-12th graders stay with their parents throughout the service. We love our children at Servants and want to incorporate them into the life and faith of the community as early as we can. Learn more about our Children's Ministry.
What to Wear
You'll find people dressed up and dressed down, so come in whatever you're most comfortable wearing.
Sunday 8:00 am
Our 8:00 service is devoted to the essential liturgy of the Anglican Church. This service offers a unique, quiet, reverent experience for those wishing to meditate on the Lord through His Word and the Eucharist each week. The liturgy is printed in red booklets. There is limited music and no extended prayer time at this service.
We have a nursery room for children 0-5 years. Drop-off begins at 8:00 and they may stay until the end of the service. There is no Children's Church for K-3rd graders.
What to Wear
Most of our regular attenders are in dressy-casual wear, but you'll often find one or two in jeans, so come dressed the way you're most comfortable.
Wednesday 6:00 & 6:30 pm
Dinner 6:00pm
We'll have something simple for anyone who comes hungry. Feel free to bring your own dinner if you like. We'll enjoy eating
at the picnic tables when weather permits and the Community Room will be open for anyone who prefers to eat inside.
Classes 6:30pm
Wednesday nights are the launch pad for getting involved with Servants. You'll have access to classes about Servants, practical life topics, and going deeper in your faith. May 2019 is a testing phase in preparation for our robust program in the fall. The May class schedule can be found here.
Children and Youth
Childcare for infants and Pre-k is in Room 3 and begins after dinner. K-5th graders also have their own class after dinner
in Room 2 (Triangle Room). Youth Group (6th-12th grade) eat dinner together at 6:00 in the Community Room, have Bible
study from 6:30-7:00, and usually end by talking and playing on the playground.
What to Wear
We know life is busy so whether you're coming from your job or your home, you'll fit right in no matter what you wear.
Thursday 12:00 pm
We follow the liturgy for Midday Prayer. We have an extended time of prayer for known needs, especially those of our parish family.
There is no childcare available for this service.
What to Wear
Considering the time of day, expect that most will be dressed for their work environment (whatever that may be). You'll fit in no matter your attire.
